Ballet Arts II consists of select students from the pre professional program who demonstrate a high level of commitment and dedication. These students are provided with additional performance opportunities alongside the Ballet Arts Company, including the annual performance “An Evening of Magic and Dance” at the Duncan Theatre, community events, and more. Ballet Arts II has produced many full length versions of ballets such as The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Dracula, Coppelia, La Bayadare, Sleeping Beauty, and Paquita Grand pas. Each of these productions include incredible choreography, sets, and costumes created by a variety of international artisans.
The focus of Ballet Arts Dance Company through the Ballet Arts II program is to teach, train, and nurture dancers for a professional career by allowing them to perform with experienced and talented professionals. Classes are kept small in order to provide individual attention and feedback for each student, and promotes a foundation in classical ballet celebrating their individual talents. Preparation for prestigious competitions, auditions for college programs, dance companies, and more are offered. See our alumni page for our students accomplishments!
Dancers in the Ballet Arts II program must be mature and dedicated to balance their ballet training with their academic studies, and to share the stage with professional dancers. This program is by audition and evaluation only, and each company member (and parent) is required to sign a contract detailing their commitment.
